Ursonate (Adam de la Cour & Neil Luck) EXCERPTS

Savęsp was commissioned by ACCO academy and accordionist Martynas Levickis for him as his string quartet SinChronic. The piece was dedicated to commemorate the 100 Years Anniversary of Independence of the Baltic States. 
The mood of the piece encompass the energy of the young generation of Lithuania, and the growth of the culture in the country over the past decades of independency. It also pays respect to the ancient language and traditions of the country, by using the formula of ancient songs 'sutartines'. The piece is a journey through moods and landscapes of the country and its people.
