All of these recordings were done with one microphone and Garageband recorded either in a storage unit (studio 54) or at home. I played the guitar, synths, bass, vocals, bells and whistles so I take all of the blame. In the 90's, I played drums with the band, Pisshorse; played with the noise/no wave band, the New Intruders in the 00's. More recently, I played drums for the Rainy Saturdays, Modern Convenience, Vanishing Islands and subbed for the Angel Sluts. Lately, I've been playing with the post punk/dream pop indie rock band, The Margins, which you should go check out (https://themarginstn.bandcamp.com/) I'm influenced by but not limited to ..... Memphis, TN's Graham Burks writes and records under the name Loose Opinions. In the studio he plays all the instruments, layering vocal harmonies, analog synths, guitars, and drums to create a sound that transports the listener to another place. The studio becomes just another instrument, and the layers swirl around in the sonic equivalent of a saturated photograph.
