As we find ourselves in the eye of the storm during the most deteriorated epoch in modern history, Mizgîn, meaning "good news" in Kurdish, was motivated by the desire to offer respite from the horrors of the world. Shelter's ambition to unite different regional music scenes has once again brought together artists from nearly every continent, with contributions from legendary names.

This compilation is dedicated to everyone struggling towards the liberation of the oppressed.

Novasdemise is a Lithuanian-born and London-based DJ, producer, visual artist and set designer. Their musical practice explores dark and intense soundscapes, which take inspiration from horror movies, sci-fi and the future, a range of influences they categorise as “Avant-hardcore”. Their work pushes industrial and raw sounds to their brink, focusing on deconstruction and innovative sound design in the context of hardcore music.
	Their production and DJ work has taken them all over the UK and to the precipice of the electronic underground. They have previously played events alongside collectives such as Syphen, Hypoxia, and KomaVictim and at venues such as Corsica Studios, The Cause, Venue MOT, Electrowerkz, and the White Hotel. Their ear for the underground is unparalleled, and they have curated one of our most futuristic and cutting-edge mixes yet.
	For this mix, Novasdemise has chosen a range of deconstructed hardcore sounds which manifest in an avant-garde soundscape that evokes both the future of hardcore and the memory of intelligent dance music from the past, both boundary-pushing and cutting-edge; this is a dose of the next generation of club sounds to be consumed in totality.

The journey ends with Epilogue: The Gates of Eternia — but as in every legend, there are many ways a story can close. Two alternate epilogues, the Twilight Version and the Alternate Ending, reveal other possible destinies, leaving Eternia shrouded in mystery even as the gates open wide.*

It's a drum and bass tribute to the golden age of the PlayStation, back when everything felt faster, dirtier, realer. Back when we were still counting polygons kid. 

Think Wipeout 2097, Ridge Racer, Need for Speed. This is the sound of busted-up jungle drum and bass straight from a memory card left in the rain.

Yeah, there's liquid DnB in here, even some future garage, the kind that creeps in when the streets are empty and the rain won’t stop and you can't get those damned memories outta your head. But don’t get it twisted kid, the heart of this record is that early-2000s jungle mayhem. The stuff that came out of blown speakers and off bootleg discs. That sound that made you drive too fast and care too little.

So here’s your induction, rookie. The Mean Streets don’t care who you are. But if you’re gonna race out here, you better have the right soundtrack. And now, you do.
