A Dream Of Truth (from Live Album)

Manuel Sékou is an audio/visual producer, assembler, viewer, collaborator and hoarder from Dresden, currently based in Cologne. He’s been attracting attention since 2016 with numerous audio works, live-sets and online radio-shows under the moniker @luxxuryproblems. Yet he’s complementing his musical output in the field of visual arts through several self-published books and exhibitions. His Sound has been published via @spa_recordings, @katharsislabel, @comicsansrec, @infinitoaudiolabel and @76666, to name a few. For the current LAFmusik show he squeezed some breaks and classics as kick off for the season. Enjoy listening.

Not for driving or heavy machinery. This one wins bedtime.

How to use (pick one)
	•	Breathwork for sleep: 4-7-8 — inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8 (optional soft hum on the out-breath).
	•	PMR (progressive muscle relaxation): Toes → calves → thighs → belly → chest → hands → arms → shoulders → face. Clench 3 seconds, release.
	•	Grounded “float”: Place one hand on belly, one on chest; feel the hands rise and fall like waves.

Pre-sleep • After a hard day • Post-panic come-down • Sunday scaries • When your thoughts are tap-dancing in steel-toed boots.

60-second micro-script

Lights dim. Phone exiled.

On the top of the mountain, the wind is howling in the old installation of the ski station of Chacaltaya, Bolivia. The station was the highest in the world, and stops a few years ago, because of the smelting of the ice (du to global warming). 
The teleski cable and tube is still there and the wind sing in it! :-)

Multipurpose is an audiovisual installation and a digital EP-release by composers and friends Marie Louise Buch and Anja Tietze Lahrmann, showcased in an old gunpowder house in Copenhagen, November 2017. 
Interested in how to create narratives from documentary material, Buch and Lahrmann traveled to Japan to record sounds from the urban and rural surroundings. The subsequent processing of the recordings resulted in an EP made up of six compositions blending pop tunes and ambient jams, shifting back and forth between vacuum and movement.

All compositions written and recorded by Multipurpose. 
Mixed by Multipurpose and Anders Bach Pedersen.
