Con ‘I Wanna Jack’, Steve Thirry se adentra de lleno en el territorio más físico y directo del Chicago house, firmando uno de los cortes más funcionales y orientados a pista de Jackin’ Up The Juice, su nuevo álbum en FenixFire Records, previsto para el 13 de diciembre de 2025.

El track se construye sobre un groove clásico, con una base rítmica firme y un bajo elástico que empuja sin concesiones. La percusión, clara y repetitiva, marca un pulso constante mientras pequeños acentos y detalles vocales refuerzan ese espíritu jackin’ que conecta directamente con la tradición house más cruda y bailable. No hay adornos innecesarios: todo está diseñado para funcionar en la mezcla.

‘I Wanna Jack’ destaca por su efectividad y su respeto por el lenguaje original del género. Steve Thirry no busca reinterpretar el Chicago house desde la nostalgia, sino utilizar sus códigos esenciales para construir una herramienta actual, pensada para sesiones largas y contextos de club donde el groove sostenido es clave.

El álbum Jackin’ Up The Juice reúne diez cortes que exploran distintas facetas del house más rítmico, y ‘I Wanna Jack’ actúa como uno de sus puntos más directos y reconocibles. Un track que entiende la pista como espacio de repetición, energía y conexión colectiva.

Dema kicks things off with his own interpretation, letting the focus shift to the commanding bassline, while keeping the musical elements of the original intact. The original mix is up next, advancing in style with mighty low frequencies and cavernous effects, while streamlined synths go hand-in-hand with the subliminal rhythm section. Tomy Declerque finishes up with his own rendition, going for a more looped-out approach, combining classic chord action with spacey electronics and trippy edits.
