French techno maestro Julian Jeweil ends his year with his 'Chrome' EP, whose opener is a scintillating peaktime burner that embodies the hard, polished sound that has made him into a widely successful musician over his time in the underground.

As we gear up for the 2017, what better way to start it properly with our new VA focusing on tracks geared towards the brilliant BPM festival featuring some of the hottest underground techno producers out there. 

The VA kicks off with Mr. Bizz 'Angus' a dark pulsing track just right for your peak sets, followed by Spartaque and Fractious who are no strangers in the techno world that come straight with their underground techno sound. 

Juan DD, Celic, Grasso & Maxim, Natalino Nunes return to Transmit family with their exclusive tunes on this VA by bringing out some solid underground tracks that fit perfectly to this pack's direction. Finally we end this much anticipated compilation with a new upcoming artist, Barbuto, who debuts his dark sound.

All in all 'Transmit at BPM' has all you need to enjoy your times in Playa del Carmen.

Making his debut on Rebellion, a label that champions music for the early hours, famed DJ, producer and vocalist Kevin Knapp has created four original tracks for the Crosstown Rebels imprint. Ten years since first crossing paths with Damian Lazarus, the stars have finally aligned, resulting in the Find Me EP. 

Baby Luck aka Brittany Ballard features on Find Me with her first ever vocal recording. Lifelong friends, her dynamic vocal fits perfectly over the bubbling baseline. “It’s been super dope working with a vocalist other than myself, and solely wearing the producer’s hat in that creative dynamic. Distinguished for his filthy house cuts, Kevin has a created a deeply charming EP, reinforcing his position within the dance scene. A man of many skills, the US born artist started out by DJing in San Francisco for notorious clubs such as Werd and Housepitality and after relocating to Berlin his career catapulted and a global touring schedule ensued. Always staying true to his sound, Kevin has previously released on Hot Creations, Viva Music, Material and Dirtybird Records among others.

Released on Slater’s iconic ‘Freek Funk’ album on NovaMute - one of the most seminal techno albums of the 90s - ‘Love’ finally gets the remix treatment it deserves more than two decades after its initial release.

Marcel Dettmann provides two takes on Love, his ‘City’ remix features a cacophony of metallic rhythm, ebbing pads and plenty of swing whilst mantra-like vocals operate throughout, followed by the thudding ‘Black Glove’ remix with its murky tones and rattling effects.

Victor Ruiz lands his Debut EP on Drumcode.

Victor first released on Drumcode last year on their most recent edition of the famous A-Sides Vol.7 compilation with his colossal track ‘Pulso’. Victor has been relentless when it comes to producing absolutely huge sounding tracks, which are heavily suited to the big club room vibe. This May he steps up for his debut EP on Drumcode with ‘Nimbus’.

The title track ‘Nimbus’ marked an important milestone in his life, his arrival to Berlin, his new home. Due to the lack of studio space and set up, he made Nimbus entirely with headphones and laptop. A piercing track with a punctuated kick drum that cuts through the mix, alongside some industrial tones which build an eerie tension. A track that really sits on the darker side of the progressive techno world.

Victor explains that this release is “very much a mix of old and new” representing two stages of his life. ‘Unveil’ was a track he produced back in Sao Paulo, when day dreaming of his move to Europe. A chunky low end combined with big percussion that makes it more of a heady introspective track on the release. It most definitely shows a more experimental side Victor but is welcomed and makes for a thunderous dancefloor track.
