In 2016, indie-pop musician Katie Day experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows in the scope of less than a week. Her beloved Chicago Cubs ended a 108-year long drought in spectacular fashion just a few days before the election that fundamentally changed the nation forever.

On her third EP, No Turning Back (Available April 27, 2018), Day poignantly channels the political frustrations of the past year into four dreamy indie pop anthems that are as inspiring as they are contagious. The title track is an uplifting and unapologetic homage to the modern feminist movement, in which she declares the end of her time as anyone’s “pet” or “toy”.

"Whatever happens, I want to be able to look back at this period of time and know that I was honest and fearless and can be marked as someone who was on the right side of history. This album is basically a public record of where I stood,” says Day.

Co-produced by Scott McDowell (Feist, The Head and the Heart, Washed Out) and Kyle Vandekerkhoff of Interscope Records (Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Schoolboy Q) in San Francisco and Los Angeles, No Turning Back offers an impressive blend of Day’s modern influencers like Vulfpeck with the sound of her favorite Motown classics and the lyrical writing chops of Joni Mitchell.

Katie Day is a Los Angeles-based musician and composer whose songs about the Chicago Cubs have earned her countless on-air media spots, including WGN’s popular morning news program. Her work has been featured on Daytrotter, MTV’s Real World, ESPN, Spotify’s New Music Friday, and more.

Han llevado sus sesiones por toda la península así como fuera de ella. Países como Alemania, Francia, Bélgica, Suiza, Jordania o Canadá han bailado al ritmo de estos lovers de la música electrónica de alta calidad. Actualmente los podemos encontrar produciendo para sellos discográficos como Flame Records, Adult Music, Kopf Artefakt o Finest Cut Records e inmersos en su radioshow, emitido en emisoras de gran renombre como Vicious Radio, 54 HouseFM (Alemania), RM Radio, Cool Music Radio y un largo etcétera. El pasado año los encontramos en Ibiza en Bora Bora Beach, Hotel Pacha, 9Nine y Soul Beach, y este 2013 su presencia está asegurada en la isla para el disfrute de todos sus fieles seguidores en una de las fiestas que llegan para romper moldes, y asentarse ya, como una de las citas ineludibles con la diversión y el House de alto octanaje.
En el Showcase de Universal Love se intenta llevar la fiesta a su punto álgido jugando con los sentidos de los asistentes en una mezcla sonora, visual y degustativa. Sonora gracias a la selección musical de su amplio abanico en Top Djs nacionales e internacionales y djs residentes, visual con las proyecciones 3D, decoración temática e interacción de nuestros músicos, performance y equipo acrobático y degustativa con nuestras bandejas especiales de frutas exóticas y zumos especiales.
La imagen y la forma de vender nuestras fiestas es muy importante, por eso disponemos de equipo propio de publicidad y marketing, y todo el material gráfico como cartelería, flyers, sabanas de calle, etc, las cuñas, ráfagas, off, productos radiofónicos, y todo el merchandising de la promotora esta incluido en la producción del evento.
