GREEN VELVET make his Circus Recordings debut with Bigger than Prince, his most talked about track in years...

Bigger Than Prince was born after a conversation where Yousef invited Green Velvet to Indonesia to DJ with him on the annual Circus Tour. The two had a discussion about Green Velvet contributing a brand new track Yousef's Circus X // part 1 compilation, where ten friends of Circus produced a track for Circus Recordings to celebrate ten years or Circus events.

Here we have the Green Velvet contribution...

Bigger than Prince is classic Green Velvet, yet its as current and sharp and fresh as music sounds in 2013. Quirky and driving, already in the boxes of Jamie Jones and Richie Ahmed.

If the original was not enough, Yousef drafts in more of his friends on remix duties, neither need any introduction, HOT SINCE 82 and THE MARTINEZ BROTHERS...

Here is Modern Amusement Podcast 03...I was enjoying a caipirinha in my hotel room on my last night in Sao Paulo this weekend, when I heard a rapid metallic knock at the door…   Thinking it was an errant room service, when I opened the door and saw nothing I was shocked…

Until I heard a series of bleeps and tones and a shiver coming from the ground and looked down.  I was surprised to see b6 the backwards motion robot again.  He was shivering and cold to the touch and his outstretched claw held a disc labeled “Lee Foss – Modern Amusement Podcast 03”   below was a a message from a future me that this was a recording of an old school house set from the early 2000's played at the 2088 Neptune Ball.  While excited to see more evidence that in the future both time travel and planetary colonies are possible I was disappointed that once again there was no tracklisting on the disc.

Following acclaimed excursions on Hypercolour (‘Needs You EP’) and Will Saul’s Aus Music (‘Child EP’) last year, George FitzGerald is preparing to make his return to his Hotflush home for the first time since 2011. Claude VonStroke: "I had dinner with Breach in London and he told me 'Hey, I have a track that is really dirtybird. I would put it out but its really sounding right for you guys.' I took this with a grain of salt but then I heard "Let's Get Hot" and I found out he was right. It's got the swagger and the sound. It makes girls grind their asses into boys crotches on the dancefloor. Perfect. Signed.

So I then asked him to make something even more sexual, thinking it would be ages before I got something back. 10 days later the A-side came back to me as a 2 minute clip while i was on the train to warehouse project in Manchester. I liked it so much that i edited it on the train to stretch it out to 5 minute. As expected, it slayed the room and the final version Breach has delivered is one of the best records of the year in my opinion. With the simple title of "Jack" you can see for yourself when you play it. This is the real deal.
