Anxious Manchild is the solo project of Alex Beighton. Alex started recording early demos on his phone back in 2015 using only the mic from his broken apple headphones and not much has really changed since. Alex still makes and produces his music in his D.I.Y bedroom studio not because he enjoys it but because it’s all he has. Making use of what you’ve got it the ethos behind Anxious Manchild.

A prolific songwriter Alex tends to write spontaneously starting with a riff or a chord progression and just seeing where it takes him. You could call him a multi instrumentalist but he prefers jack of all trades master of none as he doesn’t really have a clue what he’s doing. Completely self taught Alex continues to learn and progress on his musical adventure one small step at a time.
