Mic Stylz (Michael Homewood) began MC'ing in 1996.  He made his first feature appearance in 2000 on the Skitzofreniks 12 inch vinyl single “C’mon Dude” released on Brick Records.  His unique punch-line driven flow and clever word-play instantly attracted people to his style and music.   
From 2001 to 2003, Mic spent time as an on-air personality at JAMN 94.5 in Boston and later at Red Hot 95 WRED, in Portland, Maine. He is currently heard on JAMN 94.5's (Boston) 'Ramiro & The JAMN Morning Show intro weekdays at 6am.
During his career, Mic has appeared on songs with KRS One, Pacewon, Termanology, Reks, Krumb Snatcha, Thirstin Howl the 3rd, Grafh, Esoteric, Akrobatik, Reef the Lost Cauze, J the S, Rasco (of Cali Agents), Breezevaflowin’, the CAMP, Skipp Whitman, J'You, Masstapeace, Kali Raps and Joey Barbieri – to name a few.  
He has worked with producers such as Mr. Green, The Returners (Poland), The White Shadow of Norway, D-Tension, The Boom Bap Addicts, Grubby Pawz, Spitz Beats, Jon Glass, Mr. Jason (of Porn Theatre Ushers), Legendary Axe (of Masstapeace) and many others.

In 2010, his single “Fantasy Team” (produced by Matteo Getz), charted for 6 weeks and reached #4 in the Nation on U.S. college radio. It was his first official release since “Bringin’ it Back” (featuring Esoteric) which reached as high as #3 on the Rap Network Record Breakers and #5 on both the CMJ & Rapattacklives.com college music charts in 2005.
In October of 2011, 15 years after he began rhyming, Mic finally released his debut album, appropriately titled: "It's About Time".  The album is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon.com, Spotify and most other digital retailers and streaming platforms.
