Hard-hitting rock, heavy breakdowns, and an energetic live performance that never stops entertaining the crowd. Screaming For Silence has continually captivated audiences across the nation, gaining fans with every stop. They've been nationally touring for over three years, and have played over four hundred live shows from coast to coast. The constant touring paid off in 2013 when S4S was asked to sponsor and promote PRS's new line of S2 guitars. 2014 was spent touring and recording their first full-length studio album. Their new material was recorded in North Hollywood, California at Grey Area Studios with producer Erik Ron (Motionless In White, We Came As Romans, New Years Day). With head banging guitar riffs, intense drums, and melodic hooks containing in your face lyrics the boys of S4S have created their own unique sound. The first single off their self-titled debut is aptly named, "The King Is Crowned," garnered radio play across the country and peaked at #28 on Billboard’s Indicator chart. In May of this year, S4S was selected by Ernie Ball as the Battle of the Bands for Rock On The Range winners. This year has been amazing and they aren’t stopping now. Having the right combination of talent, work ethic, and road experience S4S is poised to explode onto the rock scene.

Guitarist William Ghezzi has performed extensively with orchestras, chamber ensembles, choruses, dance companies, in theater and opera, and for films, radio and television. He has appeared with the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra, the Harry Partch Ensemble, the Philadelphia Guitar Ensemble, and in many other solo and chamber music settings. Mr. Ghezzi can be heard on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and YouTube Music his videos can be seen on YouTube, Vimeo, and Instagram. His latest recording, Telemann: Fantasias for Viola da Gamba, is available on all major streaming services.

​Currently Ghezzi is working on a project to transcribe, record and perform a selection of Fantasias by Georg Philipp Telemann originally composed for viola da gamba.  Only recently rediscovered, these pieces are a new addition to the guitar repertoire

He has commissioned numerous solo and chamber music compositions for himself, the Newman/Ghezzi Guitar Duo, the Baxter/Ghezzi Flute & Guitar Duo and the Philadelphia Guitar Ensemble including works by Robert Maggio, Laurie MacGregor, Kile Smith, Robert Capanna, and Jan Krzywicki. Currently Ghezzi is working with composer Paul A. Epstein to transcribe a selection of his piano compositions for guitar. 

Ghezzi's arrangement of "Morceau de Concours" for flute and guitar by Gabriel Fauré was selected as a finalist in the Newly Published Music Competition of the National Flute Association and is published by Trillenium Music Company. His other publications include "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme" for voice, flute and guitar by J.S. Bach, "Guitarbooks I and II: Early Repertoire for Classical Guitar", "Four Chanson: for High Voice and Guitar" by Gabriel Fauré and "Suite no.6" by J.S. Bach originally for cello.

​Ghezzi holds a music degree from Temple University, College of Music where he studied with Peter Segal and Anna Kotsaranko. He has studied privately with Phillip de Fremery, Eliot Fisk and Vladimir Mikulka. He has been on the music faculties of Temple University, Chestnut Hill College, and Settlement Music School in Philadelphia. Mr. Ghezzi lives in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. Currently, he is giving private guitar instruction at all levels from his home.
