If I've favourited one of your tracks, it's because I'm thinking about doing something with it!
As a DJ/producer, I've always loved crate diggin' for hidden gems, there are many online that get overlooked and many of those are up for free download, which is where this concept originates; can I find enough free downloads of a high enough calibre for a half hour mix and where do I start? Please feel free to send me links to tracks that you think could/should be included in a mix, baring my track selection criteria in mind; the track should be full length and downloadable from soundcloud in high quality, engineered to a usable standard and all rights owned by the uploader.
Spam will get you permanently blocked without further warning; sob stories/begging/demands or threats won't affect what's included in the mix; I'll listen to the tracks you suggest and either accept or reject them based on my personal taste alone.
I'm not a label boss, promoter, judge or critic, and while some contributing artists will get offers as a direct result of inclusion, I don't promise artists anything beyond getting their partial or complete track heard as part of my mix. I will post all relevant data ie. artist, track title and track URL as timed comments throughout the mix. I'll post links to the mix on my Facebook etc. and I hope the artists included in the mix will do the same, that way all involved get heard by a wider audience.
I'm going to start with a 30 minute mix, with the intention of uploading a new 30 minute mix a week later and, depending on how successfully it works, developing it into something a bit bigger. I already have a few ideas.
