This is music that may make you feel at home. This is music to listen to when you're strolling alone on a strange beach. This is music to listen to when you need to pretend you haven't been in traffic for 2 hours. And of course, in the original Spirit of Detroit, this is music to experience in a dark booming strobe-light lit warehouse. It's techno, deep stuff, all kinds of house and bounce inspired by real places and places imagined in the head of Paint.

Mix Paint grew up and developed his passion for music in the birthplace of techno. It was a blessing for him to have access to the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (now Movement) right in his backyard and to be able to go see and meet the legends almost anytime. 

He got his first Korg synthesizer/drum machine at 16. He had no idea what he was doing. He had no idea there was no turning back. His mom told him good job. The community told him to keep it going. He did.
