Revered for use of reverb-laden guitar work, creative synth structures, and dynamic vocals akin to the style of many shades of 80’s and early 90’s pop-darkness. Hailing from Sacramento, California. The lineup includes - Ean Clevenger (vox/programming), Barry Crider (guitarist), David Wright (synth/drums) , & Kyle Vorst (bassist).

In late 2017, Creux Lies completed their first full-length album via Cleopatra, “The Hearth”, recorded at the creative fantasy-land known as Earthtone Studios (Tera Melos, So Stressed!, King Woman) in their home city under the creative care of producer/engineer extraordinaire Patrick Hills. 

The band is known for their memorable live performances and appearances at WGT, Absolution Fest, Murder of Crows NY, and several other shared stages and tours with a roster of notable acts such as AFI, The Soft Moon, Modern English, Light Asylum, Clan of Xymox, Drab Majesty, Soft Kill, Actors, Vowws, Twin Tribes, and others. 

Fall 2021 marked the release of their second full-length “Goodbye Divine,” via the international Freakwave label. 2022 was a storied year of touring, including bicoastal headlining tours and a direct support tour with the 80's iconic group Modern English. 

2023 will deliver. Expect the release of an imaginative remix EP from their album, "Goodbye Divine." This EP includes collaborations with artists such as Pixel Grip, Twin Tribes, Traitrs,  Ash Code, and Male Tears. Catch them soon on tour throughout the reaches of the planet.

Independent artist/percussionist based out of Portland Oregon. As of 9/14/16 this will be my first post on soundcloud and it represents the bulk of my work over the last 14 years. I have been very fortunate to have worked with such talented individuals to produce this music. From an early age I have been actively performing, writing and recording. playing primarily drum set and competitive marching, I am influenced most by metal, progressive rock, jazz and any form of EDM. I am always looking to expand and reinvent.
