ULYSSE is a musical project born in the course of 2013. The band consists of Arnaud, Julien and Benoit. After realizing that they shared the same musical taste and a common passion for composition, they decided to create ULYSSE. The band spent a year experimenting, finding their own personality and composing several songs. By merging electronic beats with guitars and vocal parts, they attempt to find the perfect compromise between emotion and energy. In 2014, they release "U as in ULYSSE", a debut EP of 5 original songs. The single "Wounds" has now gathered more than 500k plays. 

Now, one year later, they're back with a second EP called "Cashmere Guns" - dropping October 19 -, settling their identity through 5 powerful electronic songs.

This is our first release as Borneland, it's not a remix or bootleg, it is entirely our own! To create the perfect foundation for the track, we combined the magic of the classic Rhodes piano, Prophet 08 synth and the SH-101 characteristic sub bass. The instruments show our differences and our individual strengths, while the acoustic violin by Andreas Birk and soulful vocals by Line Gøttsche is the soft, edgy twist - like the cherry on top. This track symbolises the simplicity in life and the mind blowing love for the person you just cannot get out of your head.

It will be released today on the record label Music For Dreams, with the legendary frontman Kenneth Bager behind the scene. It is available on all digital platforms and will also be in a limited edition vinyl in a few carefully selected record stores - for the lucky ones. As the icing of the cake; we have a package of remixes coming soon with some of our favourite artists interpretation of the track.

Chopstick & Johnjon’s Berlin based Suol label follow up their balmy Summer Daze collection with an equally warming EP from label stalwarts Ulrich Harrison and Marlon Hoffstadt a.k.a Tender Games. 
Having had a busy summer including live shows at a slew of international festivals the artful pair offer up their "Notion" EP: a 4 track collection of gently ambling rhythms and heart-rending melodicism.
Swooning and snaring vocals are spread and reverberated before "Walking On" is formed upon a theme of altruism. Purring organ tones and patterning tambourines interweave ahead of an arresting Rhodes motif before urgency is added through the injection of layered synths and additive percussion.
