Chuck Magid is a twenty-three year old musician/manager/songwriter based out of Orlando, FL. Magid first found his love for music at the age of six when his dad first played him the Jimi Hendrix "Are you Experienced" album. He began taking private lessons and studying guitar later that year.

Magid continued studying the craft of his instrument by attending The National Guitar workshop, and the Berklee College of Music five-week summer program, where he decided to make music his life. Magid then began studying Music at Rollins College in 2008 specializing in guitar performance.

He has been a part of numerous musical groups including Pour Hamilton, Haole Sound, and Elechronic. He has also performed as a solo one man band act for the past two years.

His interest in music has drawn his attention to many different aspects of the music industry. Including being the host of his own radio show on WPRK 91.5FM titled "Green Eggs & Jams".

Magid has also shown great interest in music festivals. He has done press & media work for PB&J at festivals such as Bear Creek, Electric Forest, and Counter Point Music Fest. Magid describes these experiences as a way to get face to face with artists you admire and look up to. "It gives me a chance to sit down with some of my favorite artists and ask them real questions. I then take their input and apply it towards my music and what I am trying to achieve", said Magid.

During one of his festival adventures he met DJ/Filmmaker Seulgi Lee ,and has been representing Lee as his manager for his DJ persona, OldBoy.

Magid has recently began interning at a recording studio known as Studio-18. He is learning the process of the recording industry by recording his own content weekly. He is also learning how to record and run sessions from studio owner Connor Smith and Joe Claufield.

Magid hopes to make this a year to remember by building his content and dropping an EP/Album every month of 2013 beginning with Haole Sounds debut album coming this January.

He says he is also crazy hyped about this upcoming year for OldBoy and the journeys it is going to bring. "Get ready for some funky jams, and Bass!"
