When we finally decided to put the work in to follow this pipe dream of ours, we started as a songwriter looking to find our lyrics a home with the right artists. Our path since then has evolved into us discovering our own voice and sound. We have been writing since 2004 and our biggest influences come from pop, pop rock/punk, alt rock, hard rock, indie, metalcore, heavy/glam metal, emo, scream, goth rock, grunge, punk rock ect. We’re just a girl with 2 consciousness’ and multiple minds- a collective.

Tim and the Turmoil's Makeshift Memorials album is a project of Austin-based songwriter and performer Tim Wilkins, formerly of Boston's The Leisure Class, Houston's Plastic Farm Animals, and Austin's Louder Shrine.  Makeshift Memorials includes performances by Brian Ellison (drums), Jason Krohmer (bass), Jon Sanchez (guitars), Ky Hote (guitar), and Matt Parmenter (keys and percussion).  Album was recorded and produced by Matt Parmenter at Austin's Ice Cream Factory Studio and mastered by Nick Landis.

Tim and the Turmoil continues as an Austin-area band with Jeff Garrard on lead guitar, Jason Krohmer on bass and backing vocals, Brian Ellison on drums, and Tim Wilkins on vocals and guitar.
