Fantasea is a DJ, Event Producer and host originating from New York City. Being a queer POC from Costa Rica, his main objective is to bring people from all walks of life together, while prioritizing the safety and inclusion of QTPOC. 

Taking inspiration from growing up in the Bronx, the NYC Ballroom scene & culture, the 90’s club kid era, the rich history of house music and so much more expect his musical selections to be an unapologetic celebration of energy from all of his influences. Mixing together genres like classic house, techno and vogue beats, get ready to feel yourself and get down with the groove.

With the ever-evolving landscape of R&B, SiR has solidified his place as one of the genre’s most compelling voices. Since his 2015 debut project, Seven Sundays, he has consistently delivered soulful, introspective music that resonates with fans worldwide. His HER EP series (HER in 2016 and HER TOO in 2017) earned widespread praise, setting the stage for his breakout sophomore album, November (2018).

SiR continued his momentum with Chasing Summer (2019), a critically acclaimed album that featured the RIAA Gold-certified single “Hair Down” with Kendrick Lamar, as well as fan favorites like “John Redcorn” and “You Can’t Save Me.” 

During the pandemic, he kept his audience engaged with the single “Rapper Weed” and his well-received cover of The Isley Brothers’ classic “Footsteps in the Dark, Pts. 1 & 2.”

In 2022, SiR entered a new chapter of his career, releasing a string of singles, including “Satisfaction,” “Life Is Good,” and “Nothing Even Matters.” He continued to build anticipation for his next project with the release of “No Evil” and “Karma” featuring Isaiah Rashad.

In 2024, SiR delivered Heavy, his highly anticipated album, which arrived on March 22. With this latest body of work, he reaffirms his place as a driving force in modern R&B, seamlessly blending soulful storytelling with rich, timeless production.

I'm currently working on downloading an obscene amount of music, because I may give a go at DJing at some point in the future.

(also because: why not, having a bunch of tunes at the ready to play without internet is pretty nice). 

Until then I guess I'm just an appreciator of sexy vibrations. I also might share some shit I produce, but that will only be when I learn a new audio production program that works on Windows that I like.
