After choosing to pursue DJing once the pandemic started, Chicago native Rick West found his passion shortly after creating DJ collective Pacific Theory with his friends, with the mission to bring music to people during tough times, while evolving together as artists. Although Pacific Theory is on hiatus, Rick West continues to impress crowds with his high energy, feel-good house music; often leaving them with a sense of nostalgia rarely experienced on the dance floor. His career highlights include placing 2nd in a San Diego DJ competition, playing the main-stage at the Moonlight Mirage 2020 festival in the Mojave Desert and spinning a six-hour set at the Electric Zoo Cancun after party in 2021. Currently focusing on playing shows at Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.
