Based off an old hymn by Francis Ridley Havergal, this song is a collaboration with guitarist @Tommaso-Strada. Cover art by Tiffany Diaz.

The theme is of communion with Jesus and recognizing not only His sacrifice on our behalf but of our ongoing relationship with Him. He is the Savior of the lost without whom we would be nothing.

Do you ever have those times when there are many things going on in the world that concern you whether on a global, national, local or familial scale - or all of the above? Sometimes this results in a vague sense of unease and burden on our souls - like a cloud hanging over our heads we can't seem to shake off.

I was feeling that way one day as I drove home from grocery shopping and decided to just sing my thoughts out loud. But not knowing exactly what to say, I just spoke to Jesus, "Why do I feel burdened? What weighs on my soul?" There are so many reasons to praise, but sometimes in order to get there, you first need to re-release your burdens at the feet of our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and... Prince of Peace.
