For us, VISION has always been about pushing the envelope, both musically and artistically. For ‘Chronos’ we wanted to write something with this ethos whilst focusing on space in the music, and also exploring themes of modern sci-fi. a couple of weeks ago i decided to "remix" a tune from the 2000s that i liked a lot. at first, the main bassline seems to be the core of the track, but it quickly evolves into something bigger, surrounded by ideas which stemmed from the original track without having any direct connections to it. because this meant restructuring the entire track, i felt like the term "vision" was more appropriate than "remix", since it encapsulates my vision of what this song would sound like if it was produced today, as well as my visions of how i would musically interpret the song title "uptight".
