With Husky's Call, I embody the connection between the vast, frozen wilderness and the resilient husky, representing strength, freedom, and loyalty. Through my voice, I channel the husky's powerful journey across the icy plains, capturing the solitude and the fierce determination it holds. Each word is a tribute to their unwavering courage, as they lead us through blizzards and dark nights, guided by instinct and heart.

In this song, I reflect on their inner spirit,  the way they chase the auroras, dream of the sun even in the darkest polar nights, and embrace the challenges of their harsh environment. My voice carries the admiration I feel for these creatures, who are not just animals but symbols of survival and companionship in the wilderness. The husky’s howl is a call to the wild, a legacy that echoes through the snow, and I sing to celebrate their role as guardians of the frozen world.

Every verse, every note, mirrors the raw beauty of their life in the cold, and through the chorus, I express how they lead us, not just physically, but spiritually, beyond the limits of what we know, into the heart of the North.

My favorite authors have died, and the bookstore in my neighborhood has gone out of business.
These are tough times for paper media.
Like records and CDs, they will eventually disappear.

Ghosts of the library.
They make such ominous prophecies.

We can find the knowledge we need by searching, and there are plenty of videos and comics.
Everything is converted into data and delivered to us immediately. 

Ghosts of the library.
They say, “What are you complaining about?”

A place where forgotten stories are kept.
They live quietly there, unknown to anyone.

Eventually, there will be no more authors, and novels will be written by AI.
We'll be able to read a wonderful story with a theme we like and a happy ending.

The Story of Aidan is a soulful piece, created out of love for nature and the deep connections between life and death. Through this song, I wanted to give voice to a story that lies beyond time. The Story Of Aidan, a gardener who, even after closing his eyes for the last time, continued to live through the nature he loved. Aidan didn’t see death as an end, but as a transformation, his rebirth reflected in the flowers that sprouted from his body.

My voice weaves harmoniously with that of Sindre Halvorsen, and together we sought to bring this story of rebirth and the beauty that continues to thrive, even after physical disappearance. Every note and every verse carries a part of us, and the way our voices complement each other reflects both the fragility and the strength of nature, just as Aidan became part of the garden he once tended. With the warm sound of the cello and the gentle touch of the guitar, we wanted to create an experience that transports you to a place of peace and contemplation, where you can feel that life continues in other forms. I hope this song brings you the same inspiration and inner peace it has brought us.

Once lived a man named Aidan, mild, 
A gardener with a heart so wild. 
He loved the soil, the seeds, the rain, 
In nature's songs he found refrain.

He spent his days in earth's embrace, 
Planting seeds with patient grace. 
He whispered to each leaf and stem 
Of starry nights and sunlit hems.

To him, each plant a friend sincere, 
Their silent voices he could hear. 
He felt their joy, their silent pleas, 
Their laughter carried on the breeze.

But time, the ever-flowing stream, 
Carried Aidan towards a dream. 
His body aged, his spirit soared, 
Until he passed through death's own door.

Yet when his final breath was gone, 
His soul felt drawn to earth's sweet song. 
He lingered where his heart belonged, 
Among the blooms he'd loved so long.

In that hidden garden grand, 
From his skull there sprang a strand. 
A flower unlike any seen, 
With petals soft and silver sheen.

Each petal was a memory, 
A fragment of his history. 
They whispered tales of love and life, 
Of joy and sorrow, peace and strife.

Could sense a presence warm and clear.

The Story Of Aidan (feat. Sindre Halvorsen)

There are moments when you feel the need to return to your roots, to relive your memories and find yourself in them, as if rummaging through an old chest that still holds the scent of home. This piece is my journey into that old world, a world I carry with me even though I am far away. It’s my way of reconnecting with the earth and the calm hills of Ireland that call me back over and over whenever I feel lost.

When I began composing, I let myself be carried away by a deep longing, by a melancholy that seemed to come from the depths of my soul. In those moments, the music flowed on its own as if it had always been there just waiting to be set free. It’s a piece that feels like a bittersweet embrace, a comforting touch filled with memories and untold stories. It’s about places I haven’t forgotten and people who still live within me even if they’re no longer by my side.

As I play, I feel like I’m traveling down a familiar path, a path I’ve walked so many times in my thoughts. This journey is full of vivid images: quiet sunsets, soft light filtering through the mist, the sound of the wind whispering through the grass as if telling the stories of those who came before me. There is silence, but it’s a silence that sings. A place where I feel whole even though pieces of my heart have scattered over time and distance.

"Through Mist and Memory" is perhaps my most honest way of saying that sometimes you need to go home, even if only in your heart. It’s like opening a window to the past and allowing myself to feel everything without reservations, the joy, the pain, the nostalgia. And in all this mixture, I find my balance, that feeling that everything makes sense. I hope that as you listen, you feel a part of this warmth and peace, no matter how far you may be from the places you call home.
