More and more speed, and at dangerous angles.
Eventually, centrifugal force will prevail and we may be thrown out.

On TV, news of war and war news.
We became quite familiar with tanks and missiles.
Spend money on expensive weapons and make money on reconstruction. 
Is that the rule?

No one can stop this, it seems.

We put on warm clothes and go for a walk.
Don't let go of my hand, ever.

We mourn the hundreds of lives lost in the earthquake.
And we honor the tens of thousands of lives lost in the war.
We may eventually get used to it and feel that it is normal.
