Description:

Welcome to the 3rd vinyl release of Local Sound Network. Label owner, Ryuji Takeuchi, is on duty to drop this superb EP. Ryuji represents 2 off beat techno tracks with spectacular atmosphere, whereas, 2 remixes emphasize straight 4/4 rhythm patterns with even wider feeling. Deepbass reconstructs ‘Silhouette’ in his deep-bass manner, which makes the original sound even deeper, as if you’re swimming in far deep somewhere, whilst, original version of ‘Silhouette’ comes with Asian alike horn sound with powerful offbeat rhythm sequence. Obscene Mannequin adds deepness and darkness to already-existing funky aspects in order to make 'Veil' real brutal, on the other hand, the original version of ‘Veil’ emphasizes strength and funk. This is a well-balanced EP with 2 offbeat original tracks and 2 4/4 techno remixes, with deepness, darkness and funk inside throughout the whole EP. I am a vessel. A muffled mass. A bulk. Extent. A womb. I move. So I am neither here nor there. Always somewhere in between. To give substance to this frame, I carve out a piece of me. Sometimes a shape, sometimes a form. Into this space I pour what besieges me: words, pictures, you. So we can become me. Viscosity and temperature dictate the time it takes. When it is done, I break the mold I am. I take the cast inside and place it by the others.

That is when it starts tormenting me. It gives a face to the unsaid and an empire to what I could not bury. It now has a weight and a consistency I can no longer avoid. Still eager to escape, I turn my back on it and hobble ineptly away. But the space it has left within my frame begins to throb. It flickers, moans and aches. It chars. I can sometimes ignore what's there, but I can never hide from what’s gone. So I run. (Text: Fred Aerden)

BIOGRAPHY:

Ryuji Takeuchi (Local Sound Network / LSN, HueHelix) was born in Osaka, and then first contacted with Electronic Music in the early 90s.

In the late 90s, he moved to the United States, where he discovered Techno, House and Electro Music.

As soon as he got back, he started to DJ at several locations and eventually learned to produce at the same time. After that, he released on such labels as: LK Rec, Arms, Mastertraxx, FK Rec, SWR, Innervate, I.CNTRL, Impact Mechanics, Silent Steps, GSR, Brood Audio, to name but a few.

In 2011, Ryuji started his own imprint called 'Local Sound Network / LSN' as a platform for new generation of electronic sound which following words can appropriately describe: driving,hypnotic, atmospheric, emotional, groovy, funky… and any other aspects that rock from brain to the dance floor under the following statement:

Also, Ryuji kicked off another brand new label called 'HueHelix / HHX' as a new platform, which discloses something new,only represented by HueHelix, together with Go Hiyama, Tomohiko Sagae and Kazuya Kawakami, in order to push quality music with global standard from where sun rises.

In 2012, Ryuji launched 'Local Sound Network Digital Solutions / LSNDS' series in need of discovering and introducing wider range of electronic music, aiming at dropping unique audio output while it’s hot. Music style varies. All top quality output from new and established producers all over the world with its bottom line as follows:
