In the Midwest you will find 
the band Jackie Daytona, a solo project that was created by lead singer and songwriter 
Joel Brando in 2015. Born and raised deep within a melting pot of cultures and music in Miami, Joel found himself playing guitar 
and writing music under the name Postcards & Letters, a band 
which he started in 2013. After a brief stint he decided to venture forth 
into making 80s influenced music in 2014. Impacted by the sounds of 80's 
new wave, various Goth movements and post punk genres, he started to 
record tracks that would mirror these influences. Each song was 
meticulously refined until he felt they were ready to be released to the 
public. Currently, he has just finished the single
“I Hate You” which can be found on all streaming platforms.
