If you have been following me this year, you may recognize some of these songs  from earlier mixes posted here under different song titles. I renamed some of them to fit the synth soldering theme, so each track is named after a common component or chip that goes into the making  of a typical analog synthesizer module.

Thought Hemispheres Excerpt

This track evolved from a first patch created on Arturia's CS80V, (the main sequence). From there I filled it out with the signature VP330 strings and choirs and some further CS80 horn calls and it took on a bit of "Blade Runner" feel.
I do love this Vangelis sound palette! As a fan its a joy to get lost in :)

Hades

Another track I made for moving image. This was for an animation based on the Greek myth of Theseus & the Minotaur. I wanted to try and capture that intense symphonic sound of Vangelis, the drama and the action.

Labrynth

In terms of capturing a Vangelis sound, I'm really happy with this one. Again as a fan of this sound it was a joy to make, and its nice to listen to these textures, and feel the mood. Very definitely "Blade Runner" inspired, again following a jazzy vibe like "Blade Runner" blues.
The Syd Mead artwork also evokes that rich textured world that Ridley Scott so successfully created.

Sidewalk Diner

Around 1985 Vangelis released the album Soil Festivities, which alongside Blade Runner probably ranks as one of my all time favourite Vangelis albums. I think this particular sound palette is what I wanted to capture with this track. An evolving symphonic piece that reflects the movements of nature.

Bradbury building, dark, dank, puddles, roving spotlights, Roy Batty emerging from lift...

Search Lights

A track very much inspired by Vangelis and in particular his soundtrack to the Film Bladerunner. This was produced to accompany a CG short film many years back, which in itself was intended to be a Blade Runner homage. Sadly however that didn't come to pass.
Listen to this and think of Spinners flying through endless smog, winding between the refinery towers and over-sized apartment blocks. Or maybe Roy Batty wandering through dank wide corridors, random searchlights silhouetting him...

I've been making and releasing music under this moniker since 1998. 
Becoming more inspired with live improvisational approaches which are posted here and/ or on YouTube, alongside other tracks produced using Ableton and various hardware & software instruments.
Also release music as "The Rosen Corporation" & "Non Dreamers", and have several collaboration projects on going.
