' Archie Hamilton brings his labels in line with his new Frequency events as he unleashes MicroHertz, with the first release coming from Charlie Banks, who’s already appeared at Frequency, with a powerful and stripped back EP of underground minimal deep tech house, titled “Never Know”.

London based DJ & Producer Charlie Banks is no stranger to Archie Hamilton’s imprints having release various EP over the last few years. Bank’s has similarly released on other highly regarded labels such as Of Unsound Mind, PIV, Talman, Drumma Records, aswell as his own imprint, Disculture. He can count artists such as Marco Carola, Enzo Siragusa, Traumer, Chris Stussy and more as regular supporters of his music, and for those who have a discerning taste for underground house music, this will come as no surprise.

To launch the MicroHertz imprint, Charlie Banks drops a delectable 3 track EP of cultured and refined minimal deep tech house. The lead track is ‘Another Love’, which has already attracted a lot of attention from those lucky enough to have had an early copy. With dynamic beats and propulsive bassline combining with some well laid out arrangement and swirling ear candy. Banks delivers an authoritative cut that stands out above the rest.

Track 2 is ‘Never Know’ is another powerful track with driving beats and bassline that Archie Hamilton’s labels are well known for. Using tripped out melodies with a touches of funk delicately added, this gently catches the ear in a way that just grabs you subliminally and gets you carried away.

Last but not least is ‘Back Foot’ features a prominent bouncing bass line groove which combine deliciously with a swing of the beats, before he adds a cheeky vocal hook samples that give this track its very own identity and completes this package to perfect way to launch MircroHertz in the perfect way.'

Following on from two successful releases from crew members East End Dubs & Samu.l, Parisian playmaker & good friend Djebali delivers 003 to TRMNL Records with a killer 3 track EP.

Title-cut ‘Rave Vision’ leads with a squelchy acid bassline and robust drums running alongside gritty stabs, spacey atmospheric pads and choppy vocal samples.
‍
‘Line 56’ follows, shifting focus to dubby stab sequences, heavily swung drums and a bumpy bass groove all flowing with a subtly nuanced feel throughout.
‍
The Hypnotic floaty sounds of ‘Cotton Candy’ then round out the release, diving deeper via an amalgamation of airy synth flutters, resonant synth licks and snaking subs atop a shuffled drum groove.

The Original cut is an obvious example of the quality that Rafa and Danny have accustomed us to, very elegant deep house with a super sensual vocal and a subtle rhythm perfect for heating up the club floor at the beginning of the night. In the remix we have Philipp, who after having signed on labels like HedZup or Rendr presents us with a more minimalist version of It's Too Late, with a deeper bassline, a more extended dynamic and a happy groove that makes you move your foot uncontrollably and inevitably. Without a doubt, this maxi is a piece worthy of collecting.
