It was somehow inevitable that long time friends Klasse Wrecks and Pelvis would come together and release a joint venture, the UK/Hong Kong based record label and Australian multi-disciplinary fashion/music/design-house had been orbiting each other for years with similar styles and taste (see Luca Lozano’s ‘King Blade EP’ as proof). It only took the well timed and serendipitous sending of demos from mutual friend Roza Terenzi to seal the deal and concept of the split release and thus KWXPR001 was born. The 4 tracker is typical of both labels direction and even more so the signature style of Terenzi’s bleepy and sharp-as-a-knife productions. The two original tracks ‘Metal Glo’ and ‘Allstarz’ are representative of Roza’s mutant production style, taking in electro, breaks and futuristic atmospheres and show off the flair and confidence of the rising star from Perth.

For the first single from deRijk's second LP called 'Bifurcations', Melee is a fast and aggressive track that sees his sound turn darker and faster than his previous releases - punchy kicks underly a nervous, moving lead synth that develops throughout the track. Melee is accompnied by an alternative mix (Trench Revision) that sees the drums swapped out for a breaks-style higher tempo version that's ready for the club. Keep an eye out for more singles from the LP that will be dropping in August.

Marek Moskal (aka Moskalus) was born and currently resides in Ostrava, Czech Republic. He started his musical journey back in 2007 when he created his first YouTube channel where he would upload music from various artists to help them promote their music. With his second channel, he started doing music videos because he wanted to be a part of the scene, not only as a regular uploader, but as someone who wanted to express his own feelings. In November 2014, he had his first big break by making the music video for Bambounou's track "Onto This" which was released on 50Weapons. After that, he gained a greater audience that helped him to work with labels such as: Lobster Theremin, Shall Not Fade, Die Orakel, Pinkman and Lehult. He has also had the opportunity to work with artists such as: Baltra, Fjaak, J. Albert and Benedict Frey.

After years of listening to music and making videos for such artists, Moskalus has developed a wide-ranging taste. In his DJ sets you can expect to hear anything from disco to house, techno, UK Garage or dubstep from the golden era.

And his years of engagement have translated into a deadly recipe for the dance floor. You can hear him jamming it at his infamous Audio Video Bass parties, or right here, for the 290th edition of our Loose Lips Mix Series!
