Incredible podcast contribution straight from Buenos Aires by one of the finest young artists Argentina has to be offer, FARCEB. Very glad to have the opportunity to welcome him into the series showcasing, as it's customary, one of his utterly brilliant and completely transcendental studio mixes. In 2015 he founded his own label, Nordem Records; and in 2016 he released two top-in-class, four-tracker EPs on Arts and MindTrip (the latter a collaboration with compatriot Alderaan). The last couple of years have marked significant growth in Farceb's musical career and his future is, without a doubt, as bright as the incomparable depth and quality of his artistic productions. Born in Oviedo (Asturias) in 1981, Reeko is a dj who has rapidly attained the recognition other artists have taken a long time to gain. In his case it’s not been a matter of chance or coincidence, but the result of his innate and incredible capacity to be prolific, alongside his obsession for perfection. He marks is his birth as a dj about 1997, but it wasn’t until his first release in 2002 under the Swedish label Emergence that he became known professionally.
There is no need to name all the aliases that Juan Rico has used to release the diverse artistic sensations which flow from him, but these are characteristic which define his personality and are a part of REEKO himself. Producing and performing under different names allows him to concentrate fully on each individual event by devoting himself completely to an idea or style to which he is totally faithful, putting aside for a moment sounds and influences that don’t belong in the particular character which he is mutating into at the time.
The result is a knock out. Under the name of REEKO he has released huge techno productions which have charted and been played by the best djs in the world, right from the first tracks and EPs for labels as reputable as Theory, Main out, Integrale Muzique, Deafmosaic, Inceptive, Rxxistance, Trece Records, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Warm up or Palicavonzvreca. 
Reeko created Mental Disorder, his “pathological” label/laboratory, in 2003 under which he has released 12 works of ever increasing quality. The latest (The Day After, 2010) received a wonderfully warm welcome as one of the best releases in Hispanic Techno of the year. Artists such as Gennaro le fosse, Pacou, Oscar Mulero have collaborated with his very personal label.
Next came the label Evidence in 2005, where he opens up to his passion for the darkest and sickest part of the human mind. He looks deep within the human psyche where most of us would never go or dare explore. That is where the laconic, aggressive and totally sweeping sound that characterises him stems from. Reputable artists who have published with Evidence are Function, Paul Bailey and Trolley Route, to name a few.
The story so far reaches a climax when Reeko joins the cream of techno: the PoleGroup, formed in 2008. On the frontline of this group is Oscar Mulero, indisputable leader of the darkest Iberian techno, joined by the Asturian duo Exium and the surprising and experienced Christian Wünsch. The most recent addition to this team is Architectural, someone who will give us lots and lots to talk about.

Reeko finds himself, unexpectedly but deservedly, among the elite of Hispanic techno.

Early rave, jungle, 90’s house and high voltage electronics, all influenced by the masterful UK touch: this is how tonight’s HEX Transmission will sound. 

Benjamin Damage is an innovative artist from Wales who’s non-purist approach to Techno produces an energy and emotion rarely found in the scene. A staple at 50Weapons (Modeselektor’s label which set down in 2015), his complex music is what makes him a favourite at the world-renowned clubs and festivals like Berghain, Fabric, Sonar, Movement or Melt!. Now based in Berlin, his powerful live hardware set has caused massive damage all around the world, having recently travelled all around Asia the past April.

After having been at a HEX event in the past, let’s now welcome Benjamin Damage to the HEX Transmission series.

Some of the tracks in the Transmission include productions from AQXDM, Deapmash & Etch, Kamikaze Space Programme, Madame, Shlømo and many more.

Our 80th FrenzyPodcast, and second to last of the December series, will be provided by the UK based artist Antonio de Angelis. Antonio has become a respected artist throughout the years due to his constant search of evolving his sound. This has resulted in numerous interesting releases on labels such as KSR, Dynamic Reflection and Children of Tomorrow to name a few.

For Frenzy Antonio created a one-hour mix with a careful selection of tracks which have that powerful and continuous old school sound. It’s one that definitely brings back the ultimate club feeling. Listen to the sound of Antonio de Angelis for the next hour, enjoy!
