Formerly known as Milkplant, JX-216 (aka Justin Pennell) is a newer alias developed by San Francisco Techno DJ/Producer, Justin William Pennell over the last several years. Schooled in the Midwest and realized on the West Coast, his work encompasses over 30 years of combined DJ/production experience, and 13 years of co-running From 0-1. 

Several years into his new alias, he’s had EPs and tracks signed to Sleaze Records, BEK Audio, Blank Code, Children of Tomorrow, Devotion, Suara, etc., as well as gained critical acclaim from artists Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Cari Lekebusch, Norman Nodge, Richie Hawtin, Randomer, Tommy Four Seven, Electric Indigo, Samuli Kemppi, Arnaud Le Texier, Abstract Division, and many more.

In 2018, he launched the SF-based events crew Konstruct, with Rubidium. For four years, Konstruct has focused on promoting nascent talent from North America and internationally in various clubs and underground venues in San Francisco. As a DJ, he has played across the U.S., notably for the legendary Observe event in Detroit for Movement Festival, and at The Great Beyond festival in Minnesota.

Drumcomplex aka Arnd Reichow has been one of Germany’s most dedicated Techno suppliers since the late 90's. With two and a half decades of music experience under his belt, he has been crafting his own complex space within the Techno industry. 

Arnd’s choice of monikers defines his vision of music: Techno is a quintessentially complex matter, amounting to diverse layers that combine to form a universe of its own. On the one hand, there is the craftsmanship that comes with applying and enhancing your skills over hours upon hours of studio work, evident when looking at Drumcomplex’s discography with releases throughout the years on seminal labels such as Universal, Phobiq Recordings, Carl Cox’s Intec Digital, Monika Kruse’s Terminal M, or Andre Crom’s OFF Recordings. 

Complementing the fruits of studio labor, and arguably a litmus test of any piece of sound escapism, is the dance floor duty, and Drumcomplex has arduously served his floor time, keeping up a constant schedule of
gigs across the globe. 

Recent highlights include Carl Cox’s prestigious last Revolution Party at the infamous Space Ibiza and the legendary Awakenings Festival in Amsterdam’s
beloved Gashouder.

Since 2014, the DJ and producer runs the label Complexed Records with releases by the likes of Kevin De Vries, Alexander Kowalski, Dr. Motte and Tom Wax and of course the label head himself. Fast-forward 8 years and over 100 releases, Arnd is now running three labels, with XLR8 Kleve’s KXLR8 and newborn DCMX Records, focused mainly on dark and minimalistic singles by Drumcomplex himself.

And the BPM never stops: Arnd’s weekly Drumcomplexed Radio Show is broadcasted worldwide, airing on over 50 radio stations and all major streaming platforms, while with his DJ appearances he continues to entice Techno crowds across the globe.

This time Drumcomplex shares with us an exclusive extract of his last set played live in Sektor Evolution Club, located in Dresden - Germany.

New blood in the scene, originally from Australia, CTSD is currently resides in Berlin where he is trying to blend the energy and sound of the big city into his own vision of electronic music.

Half-tempo and unusual soundscapes are the hallmarks of Techno producer, live act and DJ Liza Aikin. In her Berlin studio, she is dedicated to tailor made music production, always looking to recreate the sound she was missing in her dj sets, with her favorite tools: field recordings and modular synthesizers.
Her work has been released on labels such as Mord Records, Emetic, Gegen Records, Ever Records and OBSCUUR.

CTSD & Liza Aikin - Tech Clubbers Podcast #278

Gabriel D’Or y Bordoy nacieron en diferentes países en 1984. 
 
En junio de 2009 decidieron combinar sus ideas y enormes aptitudes. Desde entonces han compartido cabina con artistas de la talla de, Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Slam,, Christian Wünsch o Octave One en los mejores clubs de España y otros 12 países.  
Desde que comenzaron su carrera como djs en el año 2000 han mantenido ese sabor a techno influenciado por Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Oscar Mulero o Umek entre otros. 
 
Siempre han sabido cómo combinar sus estudios de ingeniería de sonido con el djing y la producción. 
 
Desde su primer release en 2009 han pinchado en algunos de los clubs más importantes en Europa y América y han remixado a productores como Alexander Kowalsky, Alex Under, Re:Axis, Christian Wunsch, Oliver Deutcshmann, Yan Cook, Xpansul y muchos mas..
 
Sus temas han llegado a los Top Techno Charts en Beatport en más de 50 ocasiones para sellos como Selected Records, Rxxistance, AnalyticTrail , Trapez,, Phobiq, MB Elektronics, Bush Records, 1605 Music Therapy, or Golden Series entre otros. 
 
En 2009 comenzaron a desarrollar una original actuación en vivo que consta de la fusión de dos Live Sets, creando así un puzle de loops, efectos, bases con buen groove, melodías, todo en una línea Techno. Tocar sus propios temas les permite armar una sesión muy personal. 
 
El apoyo de grandes productores como , Laurent Garnier, SLAM, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Umek, Exium, Dax J, Marcel Dettmann, Christian Wunch, Amotik ,Shlømo,  les confiere el reconocimiento que merecen hoy en día.
