Wann das Projekt Filius Noctis entstand, lässt sich nicht mehr genau sagen.
Die Musik hat einen Platz in meiner Seele, schon so lange ich lebe.
Was anderen Menschen ihre Stimmen im Kopf, sind mir die Melodien.

Gedanken, Gefühle, Erinnerungen, Bilder von Dunkelheit, Nacht, Natur, Einsamkeit und Melancholie werden zu Klängen...
Dabei versuchen diese Klänge nicht, irgendetwas zu kopieren, sich in eine gängige Stilrichtung einzuordnen, eine vorbestimmte Atmosphäre zu kreieren.
Die Musik kommt so heraus, wie sie es will...



I cannot tell when exactly the project Filius Noctis began.
Music has a place in my soul, since I was born.
Other people have voices in their heads, I have melodies.
Thoughts, emotions, memories, images of darkness, night, nature, loneliness and melancholy turn into sounds...
These sounds don't try to copy anything, to fit into some common music style, or to create a predefined atmosphere.
The music unfolds exactly as it wants to...

Born 1973 in the Netherlands
Musician/composer/Producer.
I play guitar,keys
April 2014 I joined Fire Haste Music productions.
I'm very thankful they gave me this opportunity.


I played guitar in a dutch metal band (ancient curse) 1990_1996.
After that time I have been very busy with music at home as a hobby.
I started composing cinematic soundtracks in 2013
Making dark orchestral intros or instrumental tracks has always fascinated me.
My main style is dark classical but i also like to experiment with some other styles.
All music is self made no samples are used.

Ballet of Blood was selected to open the Rip Horror International Film Fest 2015 in Hollywood.

I am an amateur pianist. I only learned playing piano by myself, i don't have any formal education about it. I am a resident pianist at a catholic church, and that is where i also gained experience from playing piano ...
 
My real profession is that i am a Registered nurse  but playing piano and writing song is my hobby and a service to God. But i am here at soundcloud to share to the world my music, it is not actually all about christian music but just "My kind of music". :)
