Hello everyone! Right off the bat, I want to say that this project is a little different from the ones I usually share. It is my first piece of original music, right from composition to production (though a few lines from a popular Nepali nursery rhyme written by the late Saran Pradhan also feature in it).
However, 100% of everything/anything I earn from the sales of this song will be donated to M.A.R.G., an NGO from Darjeeling (India) that facilitates rural growth, education of underprivileged children and anti human trafficking, among other such societal reforms. Growing up in the pristine hills of Darjeeling, I came to love that cheerful little town that sits upon the clouds. It is there that I also fell in love with music, a few years ago. And now, I’m hoping that through this passion of mine, I can give something back to my hometown, even if it is in a small way.

A track written for a friend of mine (Tyrell) who lost his 16 year old brother, Renell, when he was brutally stabbed by a maniac at a bus stop, and my wife who has lost three of her brothers. I wish I could do more than write a song but I hope it gets over the feelings they give me and how I share in their losses.

'Kamal Ko Ful'  (English ~ A Lotus Flower) is a musical attempt to inspire Nepalese youth to return to their motherland.

Instrumentally "Kamal ko ful"  employees range of ethnic Nepalese and some western instruments;

The music video portrays story of a common Nepali man who has decided to let go of his expatriate life, and return back to Nepal for good with 'Kamal ko ful' (a lotus flower) . Bidur and Aliza are playing the lead role in the video. Furthermore - the video portrays  Aliza's anticipation as she awaits Bidur's return back home. The video has a delightful ending as the lead characters reunite at a local village carnival. Love wins.
