Siempre me han gustado las canciones dobles y darjeeling y darling nacen como una, pero a mitad de camino se separan para ser independientes una de la otra, pero aun guardando una relación entre si que las une.

Darjeeling nace como parte de Darling pero esta era la parte mas abstracta en un principio. Opte por cambiarle el nombre a algo que sonara mas abstracto como la canción y me llevo a la palabra Darjeeling que saque de la película "Darjeeling Unlimited" (Darjeeling es el nombre de una región en la india).

En un principio quería dejar la versión mas abstracta como la versión original, pero se salía mucho del concepto del ep. Todo esto me llevo a trabajar en una versión que sonara mas accesible con el ep y es en donde me puse a tratar de recrear una especie de canción de cuna pero con sonidos psicodélicos, con influencias Porter Robinson que es una de mis primeras influencias (en concreto la segunda).

Daft punk me hizo amar la música  pero Porter Robinson me hizo quererme dedicar a lo que mas amo.
