RadiOzora / O.Z.O.R.A. Festival resident, Hungarian pure psy talent DR SPACE is warming up the Psyktoberfest party's day #2 live from the studio, right before we welcome AUDIOFORM for a chat and some track showcases.

Miska a.k.a. Dr Space from Budapest learned and played traditional South-African music for years, and played in a psychedelic/space rock band, Man 0'Mantra on electronic drums, FX instruments, and also on traditional percussions.
He started to play as “Dr Space” mostly UK-full-on, and deeper UK-psytrance style sets. Introduced at the first time as “Dr Space” by a Budapest based underground psychedelic crew (4.49 festival / Psyweekend), at their parties and festivals, from party to party, set by set he accepted new requests from Hungary like Ozora’s Pumpui stage, Bakony festival and neighbor European countries, like Poland, Czech, Austria and far places like Israel. etc..
In 2012 he’s joined to the label “Starsheep Systems”, managed by O.z.o.r.a. festival’s promoter Wegha, and since that he played at the legendary festival's mainstage, year-by-year, and also member of the RadiOzora team.
With the influences of psytrance technical evolution, he plays now more diverse sets adapted to the ambience pure psychedelic trance" without stigmatizing it dark, progressive or full-on, mixing in the fringe of different sub-styles to give a groovy psychedelic journey around 145-150 BPM.
His confession is, that psychedelic trance producers are really significant "visionary artists" of our age, and this style of music always have to be innovative and surprising technically, nevertheless primordial in the impressions.

PROTONICA - FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION
As modern architects envisioned, the structure of an object should primarily be based upon its intended function. Therefore, Piet Kaempfer and Ralf Dietze, aka Protonica, the architects of this creation, decided that each brick, each curve and angle should be built with a lot of thought, love and devotion. Every piece of sound you will hear vibrating through your ear canals has been specially designed from scratch, and was tested under the highest levels of professionals. Thus, Form Follows Function is not like most albums which gets produced and released for the sake of being released, it is exactly the opposite intention – to deviate from the factory like music that surrounds us and craft a form that was thoroughly thought of before, while and after it was conceived.

Form Follows Function is divided into 9 different functions, which were modeled into 9 different forms that will suit its desired function. However, the function is flexible and dynamic, and enables each person that listens to the album to adjust his own prefixed functions and slide into a liquid amorphous ever changing entity. This album is the second masterpiece from Protonica, which comes 5 years after their debut album Search, which was released in 2007. Now it seems that the search for their own style is finished, and the time to dive deep and explore the next stages of their sound has come.

After 5 years of refining and crystalizing their sound, they preserved their old Acid influences, while combining new elements of Progressive and Psychedelic Trance. Dietze and Kaempfer followed the function of their name - Protonica - which means positive charge, and always had the dance floor in mind in order to tell hypnotizing stories which will enchant every person. The guys have collaborated with other superb artists such as Liquid Soul, aka Nicola Capobianco, on the track Floating Point, and another exquisite joint venture where they marked their point of view on Ace Ventura, aka Yoni Oshrat, and Rocky's, aka Roy Tilbor, track Serotonin Overdose.

One of the Pioneers in the PsyTrance scene, S-Range never holds back from experimenting, and he’s always conjuring up exotic soundscapes.
From across Australia, Brazil, Israel, India, Japan, Mexico, USA, to all over Europe, the trancers have swayed to the beats of his Live & DJ sets.

Armed with four albums, this Swedish artist is a heavy-hitting veteran- his first track hit the airwaves back in 1999, and since then there’s been no looking back. He’s a master at sending sonic frequencies laced with hypnotic grooves, sweet harmonies, all influenced by his deep love of science-fiction.

After his massively popular debut album “2001” on Spiral Trax recordings he released “Space”- a high-energy masterpiece loaded with otherworldly sounds. 2005 saw the release of his highly acclaimed album “Another Theory” - released in a limited promo edition on Liquid Records.

Celebrating more then a decade of music producing, S-Range released a remix album in 2009, aptly titled “Remixed Memories.” 
S-Range is a true sound wizard with numerous chart toppers, collaboration and remixes, during recent years he has released a number of EP's on various labels such as Echoes records, Digital Reality, Iboga Records and Atmo-Tech recordings to mention a few.
