Andrea and Angelika Cianciolo are brother and sister, and the composers behind French electronic music act 23:31, founded in 2012. Both grew up in Martigues (Mediterranean France) where the constant sun is rivalled by the overwhelming petrochemical industry.

Angelika & Andrea write sensual, magnetic electro-pop songs. In the heart of the neon-lit night, they weave an alluring web of synths, vocals and beats, into which temptation is strong to fall and get trapped

23:31 (Vingt-trois heures trente-et-une) est un duo de musique électronique implanté entre Chartres et Paris depuis 2012. Andrea et Angelika Cianciolo, frère et sœur, composent une électro-pop sensuelle et magnétique. A la lueur des néons nocturnes ils tissent une toile de synthés, de voix et de rythmes dans laquelle on se laisse prendre, victime volontaire.

Valerie est un blog et un réseau artistique créé en 2007 par College, un musicien et producteur d’origine Nantaise. Depuis ses débuts, Valerie a vu évoluer en son sein plusieurs projets musicaux comme Anoraak, The Outrunners, Minitel Rose, Russ Chimes ou bien encore Maethelvin. Grâce au blog Discodust, Valerie a également rencontré le collectif de graphistes allemand The Zonders qui a signé les pochettes et visuels de bon nombre de ces projets. En parallèle de ces collaborations de longue date, de nombreux artistes internationaux et labels comme Steve Moore, Electric Youth, Parallels, Astro Chicken, Fred Ventura, David Vunk ou bien encore Polysick soutiennent la créativité de Valerie depuis bientôt 5 ans.

Valerie s’est également lancé dans la production en sortant deux 45 tours avec le concours du collectif d’artiste new-yorkais Free Danger. L’année 2011 verra d’ailleurs l’activité du label se développer encore avec la création d’une nouvelle subdivision intitulée “Composer Series” et dédiée à des pièces musicales principalement instrumentales.

Corbeaux est un groupe de post-rock originaire du Grand Ouest, formé en 2010. Délivrant une musique sombre, organique, aux reflets métalliques, alternant climats tendus et explosions, leur style évolue au fil des disques ("Terrain Blanc" en 2011, split CD "Corbeaux / Volte Face" en 2012), les compositions s’enrichissent et le son devient plus brut. Le quatuor a plus de 60 concerts à son actif dont le festival des Vieilles Charrues à Carhaix, les Bars en Trans à Rennes, le Batofar à Paris et le Lott Festival en Allemagne. Corbeaux travaille actuellement sur son prochain EP qui sortira en septembre 2014.

Volte Face is a french band from Rennes mixing the keen electro sound of the 80s, the aerial vibe of dream pop, to the rock energy. Born in 2011 after Antoine’s solo project, this is the result of his multiple influences. At the university he meets Thomas Sourdy, who is regularly involved in the studio sessions. After hearing some of his tracks, Antoine’s entourage presses him to go further and excel, he hires Franck on the drums and the solo project becomes a trio. Early 2012, they self-produce One Night Alone, Antoine and Thomas produce the video clip. It relates the journey at night of a man in the streets of Rennes, dearest city of the 2 mates. Spring 2012, they take part in the creation of a spilt album with the Post-Rock band Corbeaux. Last November, “The Meeting Point” is released containing 2 tracks of Volte Face, “Blade Runner” and “In Another Life”.
