Une expérience hybride entre live performance, méditation électronique et rituel dansé.

Présenté à Bruxelles et Paris en 2023, Cokafonik Gymnastik: The Awakening of the Sonic Chant est un live act de Georg Crownford qui explore la construction du morceau comme un langage en mouvement — à la fois matière dansable et support introspectif. Chaque performance est pensée comme une jam avec soi-même, rendue possible par l’accès toujours plus libre aux outils de création musicale.

Entre textures abrasives, rythmiques déconstruites et passages contemplatifs, Georg Crownford façonne un flux sonore qui invite autant au lâcher-prise qu’à l’écoute attentive. Les sets, uniquement distribués en édition ultra limitée sur cassette à l’issue des concerts, accentuent l’esthétique brute et éphémère du projet : une musique à la fois en devenir et achevée.

El Pelele, artista-estrella de culto de la constelación argentina, lanza LA ÚLTIMA GOTA, su nuevo material discográfico a través de HiedraH Club De Baile, casa productora y sello musical argentino con base en Buenos Aires.
LA ÚLTIMA GOTA está compuesto por seis tracks que van desde la pesadilla industrial hasta la fantasía radiante del hyperpop. En colaboración con cinco productores de Sudamérica, este viaje pelelístico empieza en el sótano abandonado donde habitan los recuerdos distorsionados sobre los que el artista escribe, y se expande hasta la fiesta reventada o la intimidad sensiblona de una cena show.
Entre los seis tracks, hacemos una mención especial al cover de EN TU PELO, bolero del mexicano Javier Solís, interpretado en la versión argentina por la icónica diosa de la cumbia Lía Crucet. ¿Cómo suena una canción popular aullada por un monstruo? El Pelele redefine este clásico; lo destruye, lo engulle y lo vomita.
Por si fuera poco, NO ME ARREPIENTO, la agresiva y glamorosa canción pop producida por SIGFRIDA, contará con un videoclip dirigido por El Pelele y Pampa Aramburú. Una experiencia audiovisual que nos permitirá desentrañar a otro nivel la narrativa erótica y pesadillesca que se teje detrás de una poesía visceral.
En todo caso, el álbum en su totalidad marca una narrativa y un territorio entre la mística y la materialidad, como sólo una entidad como El Pelele puede evocar.

Fuelled by distorted kicks and a collage of UK Garage samples, each track channels euphoria and nostalgia. Baile Funk and Jersey Club rhythms inject a unique, high-speed danceability, giving the EP an experimental edge.
Queer EDM producers and DJs have been central to sustaining my love for hardcore. In uncertain times, it’s vital we recognize our talents and continue to support one another.

East Wall was an Italian electronic dark wave band formed by Fabrizio Chiari (ex keyboardist of Kirlian Camera) and Wilma Notari in 1982. After a series of demos  and live performances, the duo recruited Angelo Bergamini of Kirlian Camera to help with arrangement and synthesizers. In September 1984 they booked a recording time at Master Studio 33 in Cremona Italy. Working with produced Ray Masola, they recorded their debut single “Eyes Of Glass”, which was released on No Comment in early 1985. The equipment set up was a PPG Wave 2, Roland ProMars, Roland Juno 60, Simmons drum, and an upright piano. “Eyes Of Glass” is an outstanding example of 1980s Italo disco full of dark, moody atmosphere and depth. Wilma Notari’s coy vocals cast a spell on the listener as she weaves a story about lost love and “bitter tears”. Included here are the original extended 12” mix and instrumental version with mid-song breakdown and dubbed out chorus.

All songs are remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. Housed in the original jacket featuring a photo of a boy by Pushe 27.  Each copy includes a 2-sided postcard with photos of the band, lyrics, and liner notes by Flemming Dalum.
