The Andy Britton Trio is a collection of three students and friends at the University of Edinburgh, consisting of Andy Britton (piano), Andy Watson (drums) and Adarsh Sekhar (bass). Conceived from a love of piano trio music, and particularly inspired by the likes of Bill Evans, Neil Cowley and Esbjörn Svensson, we strive to achieve expressive, innovative and accessible material. These initial offerings are our first three finished compositions, the driving and energetic 'Iro', the ethereal and atmospheric 'Alaska' and the bittersweet 'Suspicions'.
