Jane Fitz took the stage twice with a B2B set this at rural 2024, and she appeared on the final day with her musical partner Jade Seatle, who co-hosts the DIY party “Night Moves” in their home, London. 自身が主宰するレーベル[Dial]、[smallville]などからラリー・ハードのヨーロッパ版とも言える様な繊細かつメロディアスなハウ スミュージックをリリースし、安定したクオリティーと人気でシーンを代表するアーティストの一人と 言えるだろう。Mayday、Adonis、Lil Louisといったシカゴハウス、デトロイトテクノの素晴らしいアーティストから影響を受けキャリアをス タートさせたLawrenceはこれまでに、[Dial]から3枚のアルバム、[Kompakt]、[Dial]、[mule electronic]、[Ghostly International]等から多くのシングル、別名義"Sten"でも多くの作品をリリースし、常に高く評価されている。 また、Superpitcher等を始めとする多くのリミックスを手がけ、定評のあるライブセットで、世界中のフェスティバル〜パーティーから引っ張りだこである。 2009年夏には約4年振りとなるLawrence名義でのニューアルバムが[Mule Electronic]よりリリースされ、多くのメディアで2009年のトップ・アルバムとして高く評価された。
 
 
-近況を教えてください。
 
最近はDavid Lieskeと僕で「Mathew」というギャラリーをベルリンでオープンさせたんだ。この半年間はそれに力を入れてたんだ。LawrenceとしてはちょうどMule Musiqから秋頃にリリースされるトラックを制作し終わったばかりだよ。それには Christopher Rauのリミックスも収録されているよ。
 
 
-このPODCASTの制作環境を教えてください。
 
これはハンブルグの大好きなレコードショップ「Smallville Record」のバックルームにある僕のスタジオで収録したんだ。隣接してある友達のレストランから白ワインをいただきながら、最高のムードでDJをしたんだ。すべてバイナルだよ。
 
 
-自身の曲は収録されてますか？
 
ミックスの中盤で「Teenage Barb」という曲を使ったよ。大好きなStefan MarxがカバーのデザインをしているMule Electronicの曲だよ。
 
 
-このミックスのコンセプトやアイデアなどあれば教えてください。
 
僕はいたってシンプルな感じにしたかったんだ。大きなジェスチャーがある感じではなく、甘いハウスミュージックだね。友達と小さな車の中で海辺を走っている時に聞いてもらえたらいいと思います。
 
 
-今後の予定を教えてください。
 
Christian NaujoksとRVDSと一緒に実験的なジャズのような奇妙な音楽を制作しているよ。Larenceとしては常に新しいトラックとリミックスを制作しているよ。あとChristopher Rauと一緒に10月にジャパンツアーを非常に楽しみにしてるよ。僕らはファンタスティックなクラブと最高な温泉の時を過ごすつもりだよ。
