Coming out of Perth, Western Australia, Maggzy (real name Kai Maggs) is a rising force in the drum and bass scene — a passionate producer and DJ known for his high-energy sound and relentless drive. His journey into the genre began in high school, where a single encounter with drum and bass sparked an obsession that quickly evolved into a creative pursuit.

Over the past three years, Maggzy has built a strong presence on SoundCloud, amassing over 200,000 streams and gaining a loyal following. Now, with eyes set on a broader horizon, 2025 marks a pivotal shift as he expands his catalogue across Spotify and other major streaming platforms.

On stage, Maggzy has brought his sets to some of Perth’s biggest drum and bass events and festivals, including Touch Bass, Inhibit Entertainment, Hiline + many more. His high energy & fast flowing performances has given him the opportunity to support heavyweights like Hedex, Camo & Krooked, Emily Makis, Pola & Bryson, Tsuki, DJ Profile, Captain Bass, Don Darkoe, Blkout, and more — earning him a reputation as a rising talent to watch.
