Let Me Down Slow - single

Pastéis de Nata is a creative take on closure illustrated using the songwriter's favourite pastry - Portuguese custard tarts. Telling a true story from start to finish, the song reached the shortlist of Abbey Road's 'Topline' competition during the pandemic and was afterwards recorded and produced with Abbey Road Institute alum David Leondi, and mastered by Platoon's Stella Massonnet. The track is the second release by alt-pop artist saachisen, featuring violin and cello and her characteristic choral touches. It released on 24/02/23, with Clash Magazine calling it 'beautiful'.

saachisen's debut single The Gap gained BBC Introducing support, a premiere in Wonderland, and over 100,000 streams on Spotify. She is a semifinalist of the international songwriting competition and UK songwriting competition finalist for 2023, with past live performances including Pride in London on the Trafalgar Square main stage to a crowd of over 10,000.

Saachi Sen (now releasing as saachisen) is a Mumbai-born, London-grown alt-pop singer songwriter. She's been a Resident Artist at Camden's Roundhouse and is a past recipient of PRS for Music's Lynsey de Paul songwriting prize. In 2019 she was longlisted for Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Competition, and performed to 10,000 people in Trafalgar Square for Pride in London. Dark is one of her earliest solo releases and was part recorded at Abbey Road, and mastered at Metropolis Studios.
