Evening Azkar 2013

وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال :" من القرآن سورة ثلاثون آية شفعت لرجل حتى غفرت له ،وهي: تبارك الذي بيده الملك ". ((رواه أبو داود والترمذي )).

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "There is a Surah in the Qur'an which contains thirty Ayat which kept interceding for a man until his sins are forgiven. This Surah is 'Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion.' (Surat Al-Mulk 67)." [At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud]

A dua is not simply a prayer or a plea but supplication is the essence of ibada (worship). As soon as the words ‘Rabbana…’ leave your lips you are actually in a state of worship.

Please make the morning and evening azkars a sincere habit. Insha Allaah, Allaah promises protection from hidden shirk, magic, evil eye, from the punishments of the grave and HellFire through these formulas; and doing so is having sufficiently thanked Him for the day/night, and it is means of having everything you want and you will be making the greatest dikr of all:

La ilaha illa allahu wah dahu la shareeka lahu, Lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, Wa huwa 'ala kullee shay'in qadeer

None has the right to be worshiped except Allaah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.

Rabbanaa taqabbal minnaa innaka anntas Samee'UL 'Aleem
Our Lord accept our dua -  You are the Hearing, the Knowledgeable!

Pronunciation
Allahumma aa'fi-nee fee badanee, Allahumma a'fi-nee fee sam'ee, Allahumma aa'fi-nee fee basa'ree, la ilaha illa-ant, Allahumma innee aa'oozu-bika minal-kufr, wal-faqr, Wa-aa'oo-zu-bika min aazaabil-qabr, la ilaha illa-ant
Translation
O Allah, grant my body health, O Allah, grant my hearing health, O Allah, grant my sight health. None has the right to be worshipped except You ,  O Allah, I take refuge with You from disbelief and poverty, & I take refuge with You from the punishment of the grave. None has the right to be worshipped except You
Benefit
Whoever recites this in the morning has completed his obligation for the night.

حَسْبِـيَ اللَّهُ لَآ إِ لَهَ إِ لاَّ هُوَ عَلَـيْهِ تَوَكَّـلْتُ ، وَهُوَ رَبُّ ا لْعَرْ شِ الْعَظِـيْمِ
Pronunciation
Hasbiyal-lahu la ilaha illa huwa, aa'layhi tawakkalt, wahuwa rabbul-aarshil-aazeem

Translation
Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is Lord of the exalted throne

Whoever recites this Allah will grant whatever he/she desire from this world or next.

This Dua / Supplication is to be read for protection to strengthen our bodies. Eyesight and ears.

A Sahabi (RA) said that he told his father: O my father! I hear you supplicating every morning: "O Allah! Grant me health in my body. O Allah! Grant me good hearing. O Allah! Grant me good eyesight. There is no god but Thou." You repeat them three times in the morning and three times in the evening.

He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) using these words as a supplication and I like to follow his practice.

اللّٰهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي
O Allah! Grant me good eyesight.
لَاإِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
There is no god worthy of being worshipped except You.’
