Deadbeat Blackout is an all-original American Rock band established in 2017 from Olympia, Washington. Deadbeat Blackout is best known for their unique sound, powerful energy, exceptional live performances, and humbleness. Consisting of all original members, Deadbeat Blackout features the remarkable female vocal prowess of Emily Kaelin and the phenomenal talent of Mike Uuereb on guitar, who is best known for his impeccable talent of improvisation and epic soloing. The rhythm section consists of Craig Fredrickson on drums, who is considered the heartbeat of the band, and Chris Johnson on bass, who is a truly natural talent. Hekate Williams was the original vocalist until she left the band for personal reasons in early 2024.
 
Deadbeat Blackout’s distinctive brand of Hard Rock music is heavily influenced by the New Wave of British heavy Metal (NWOBHM) and infuses elements of Blues and Punk Rock that combine to create the foundation of their unique and energetic style.
 
Deadbeat Blackout has an extensive resume of performing at concerts and festivals all over the Pacific Northwest both as a local headliner, and in support of touring bands. Deadbeat Blackout’s discography includes, Void of Silence (2020), Deadbeat Blackout (2018) and Live at the Skylark (2018).
