“Difficult Paths” - Reýem

This is a reinterpretation/remix of the song BOTOX BABIES by the duo The Dream Eaters. The original version is only 12 seconds long, and even with that short duration it's absolutely brilliant. So in November 2024, I contacted Jake Zavracky via email, told him I couldn't get Botox Babies out of my head and asked if I could do a remix of the song. In a completely irresponsible act, he agreed (lol) 😄 So I called in the talented singer Marc Freak to do the vocals and you know, when you put two guys together who like B-52, you can't come up with anything that doesn't have a strong B-52 influence.

Well, Jake, the only thing I know is that it's too late to regret it. 😄

The Dream Eaters can be defined as The Carpenters meets Slayer. Formed by the duo Jake Zavracky and Elizabeth LeBaron, the band is a full-on video art project with an extensive catalog of quirky, darkly humorous music videos of their catchy pop songs, and has a cult fan base.
