In Those Days is a dark-fantasy jazz/blues concept album built on the book of Judges—half film score, half rock opera, all one continuous world.

Obligé scores a crownless Canaan with smoky horns, upright bass, haunted guitars, and stormy drums: temple nightclubs for Baal, crooked odd-meter stealth for the left-handed assassin, noir prophecy under the palm tree, iron chariots rolling like war machines, midnight tension in Jael’s tent, Gideon shaking in a winepress, a daughter caught in the teeth of a vow, and a man who looks ordinary but tears down gates and pillars by a strength that makes no sense.

Some tracks play like pure score, others like songs sung from inside the story, but the same themes keep resurfacing—motifs slipping between sax lines and vocals, big-band blasts giving way to quiet, wounded prayers. This is Judges as a jazz-shadowed myth: no king, too many gods, and a handful of fragile people trying to stand up in the ruin.

Story
Song for a Ghost... The Echo of a Voice
In a forgotten corner of the Basque coast, where the waves crash with the cadence of a wounded heart, lives Maialen, a young luthier who builds violins from shipwreck wood. Her workshop, perched on the cliffs of Gaztelugatxe, is filled with strings that vibrate on their own when the wind blows from the north.
Every night, Maialen plays a melody she doesn't remember learning. A sad, ancient song that seems to emerge from her fingers as if someone else were guiding her. She calls it "The Ballad of the One Who Wasn't," and each note draws a sigh from the sea.
The Foggy Visitor
One morning, a young man with gray eyes and a soaked coat appears in the mist. He calls himself Elías. He doesn't remember where he comes from, but he knows the melody. He hums it in a voice that seems made of wind and salt. Maialen doesn't ask any more questions. She lets him stay.
For weeks, Elías helps her tune the violins, varnish the wood, and collect branches from broken boats. They speak little, but understand each other in silence. When Maialen sings, he listens with his eyes closed, as if remembering something he never experienced.
The Secret of the Broken Lute
One day, Maialen finds an ancient lute among the remains of a stranded ship. As she plays it, a vision shocks her: a shipwreck, a young musician singing to calm the passengers, a wave dragging him into the abyss… and his face: Elías.
He confirms it with a sad smile. “I died a hundred years ago, Maialen. But your song brought me back. I don't know why you… but when you play it, I exist.”
The Last Chord
They know their time is short. Every dawn, Elías fades a little more. Maialen composes one last piece, a symphony for violin and wind instruments, which she records on a wax cylinder. She calls it “Song for a Ghost.”
The night she plays it for the last time, Elías dances with her under the moon. As the last chord arrives, she dissolves in a burst of light, leaving behind a white feather and the echo of her voice: “Thank you for remembering me.”
Epilogue
Today, in Maialen's workshop, there is a violin that no one can tune, but it only plays when there is a storm. And at every concert she gives, there is always an empty seat in the front row… just in case the wind decides to return.

This track started of with a simple synth arpeggio that I came up with while experimenting with one of my synthesizers. It kept on building up and within an hour "Long Night Drive" took birth. 
The mood and sound of the track echoes my love for Italian Disco and that slight techno feel of Giorgio Moroder tracks.
It's perfect track for a long night drive to nowhere!!
