Since he released his renowned first demo in 2003 on Alahuna.net Dj Murdok has represented change, innovation and irreverence in electronic music. With a strong techstep influence, Murdok was hailed as a key spokesperson of the “double drop school of thought” – bringing syncopated funk and groove to the expected 4/4 thump of electronic club sounds of the day. Murdok   released a second mix drum and bass, but soon frustrated under being so closely linked to a genre he decided to explore other genres. 
Dj Murdok decided to explore the world of Funky and tech House. Excited with his new found toy he was eager to wow crowds. Shortly after discovering it, Dj Murdok was controlling dance floors wherever he played. Soon thereafter the up and coming dj secured several residencies in Electro and Hip-hop clubs.
“The whole reason I was excited about drum and bass was the fact that it had brought diversity to club music,” Murdok says. As a result, Dj Murdok created the multidimensional sound he is now famous for, one not limited by genre parameters: a Murdok  DJ set is most certain to rock the house, but within it one will find state-of-the-art grooves from across the board of electronic music.
As a DJ and crew leader based out of San Bernardino Murdok’s played everywhere from The Fox Theatre to the National Orange Show two times and has his own residency at famed Mission Tobacco Lounge in downtown Riverside, California. He’s continued to release promotional mixes, beginning the 2012 with heavy dance floor music), Cementing his superstar DJ status in 2012, Murdok  was chosen to helm his own mix for the groundbreaking BDC radio on dnbtv.com.
  As an artist, producer and crew head, Murdok continues to set trends.
