From salty aired islands to dark club basements, over the past 10 years, Worthy has paid reverence to the traditional form of classic house while tripping off the mark and sinking into the euphoric less-charted territories of booty-clapping bass.
 
For the past two years Worthy has been locked up putting the final touches on his debut full-length album.  Disbehave, is a genre-defying rebellion against the house producers status quo. This album cannot be confined to a category, nor can Worthy be caged in with his colleagues. Breaking down rules and boundaries, Worthy has sought to set himself apart from the mundane world of expectation, striking out to release something unexpected.  Liberated and unchained, this album is the ultimate expression of his being.
 
As one of the four founding fathers of Dirtybird, you will find some homage to the Dirtybird sound on tracks like I Get. But this album departs from his usual booty tech beats, into a broader sonic experiment as he forges new alliances with future bass, downtempo, breakbeat and deep house. You can hear the broadness and complexity of sounds on tracks like On The Floor feat. Kevin Knapp (Off, Hot Creations) with its heavy bass to the beauty of swelling chords and swirling vocals on tracks like The Words feat. Audio Angel. Reminiscent of the early days of the electronic sound movement that were less imbued with genre stereo-typing, Disbehave is an emotional departure into a complex cavern of atmospheric rhythm, eluding to the many moods of the dance music sphere.

Before the full installment of JAW’s collaborative project for Circus Company ‘MIDTOWN’, let us whet your appetites with an EP featuring a kaleidoscopic handful of teasers. Contributing artists such as Canadian renegades Art Department, Berlin DJ/producer and Bar25 Alumni Britta Arnold, Dirtybird kingpin Claude Vonstroke, Hamburg scene staple Philip Wolgast and The/Das Berlin based duo all lend their unique electronic footprints to the already unique and instantly recognisable voice and charisma of Jaw.

‘MIDTOWN’ is all about the ambitious sound of an artist reflecting every shade of the world as he sees it, through collaborations with friends from every corner of the planet and even bringing his family into the fold. From bedroom set­ups to street recordings to professional studios, spanning melancholic folk, electro pop and apocalyptic R&B, this collection is the culmination of years Jaw has spent connecting with like­minded artists, challenging himself to use his unmistakable voice in different ways and placing the emphasis on having fun, whether the music be dark and obtuse or upbeat and flamboyant. Whatever the case, twenty different recording spaces with twenty different textures have ensured that no two moments on Midtown feel the same. The full compilation can be expected to drop in September.

You may know JAW already, you may not. An artist who has sung into the hearts of dancefloors the world over, Jaw is probably most known for his electric performances as the frontman of French house wildcards dOP and their indie­pop side­project Les Fils du Calvaire. Alongside this he has guested on massive tracks such as crossover hit ‘No Eyes’ by Claptone, Para One’s ‘When The Night’ and Claude VonStroke’s ‘Le Fantôme’, not to mention regular work with his immediate musical family in the Circus Company collective. As if he wasn’t already working with enough artists, Midtown now proves that Jaw’s muse is a spirit that just won’t quit until every corner of the world is touched by his honey­coated voice.

The original tracks come along with some killer remixes. Ryan Dupree (Stil vor Talent) and Dragon Suplex (Spirit Soul Records), took their hands on „Broken and Old“ and made a fantastic job with giving their own unique touch to it!
Boy Next Door (Light my Fire, Stil vor Talent) sent „Earth, Wind and Fire“ back in time and gave it a very cool oldschool feeling.

While staying true to themselves in keeping an undogmatic approach to club music, this sound has become a solid parameter in their energetic DJ performances. We are happy to bring them back with an EP showcasing all of this magic in 3 amazingly engineered tracks. 

On this release with the lucky golden era catalogue number „93“, Robosonic's organic blend of classy house music and classic hiphop goes next level again: New York rap legend Masta Ace, originally part of the famed Juice Crew in the mid-80s (with Marley Marl, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane among others!), known for collaborations with artists such as MF Doom, influencing rappers like Eminem, and still now known as one of the realest rappers alive, made a teenage dream come true for Cord when he recorded an original feature part and hook for Robosonic on top of their soulful "Good Old Feel"! “Dedicated” builds on a vinyl from Sacha’s collection – this dirty jacking track is a dancefloor bomb! Uncompromisingly fun to play and dance to, it features a catchy sax lick and hip hop vocal cuts, toying with ghetto snare rolls and punchy drums. A nasty piece of house music that’s hard to forget.

"After an impressive late morning closing set at dirtybirds latest Watergate party in Berlin, Sacha Robotti, made his way to Switzerland to play at Nordstern. Hooking up with an equally exhausted Swiss producer, "Look Like" on arrival, the tired and wired duo shared thoughts over a heady green tea session. Realising they shared a deep love for bass, they made a pact: to write a collaborative EP that would score the highest of marks from dirtybird big dog Claude VonStoke. These two slick-back groove attacks are the end result... Loca Lola is a one-way ticket to the most mischievous of party districts where an array of manipulated vocal samples bounce avidly on a bed of chop-slapping beats. Complete with head-popping stabs, cheeky wolf whistles and a carnal carnival shriek, its left VonStrokes floors floundering the world over on every roadtest. Dropout, meanwhile, tunes into a darker, booty-busting techfunk groove where cut-throat vocal stabs punctuate the unrelenting bassline and chest-stamping kicks. RELEASE INFOS:

Sacha Robotti returns to Klasse Recordings with The Big Ol EP, this time showing a penchant for garage grooves, ghetto drums and great samples. Remixes come via Dance Mania legend Waxmaster Maurice and Raw House rookie Dudley Strangeways.
The Big Ol makes it's intention clear from the very start, this is a fun track with big grooves, high energy and a dose of humour to top it all off. Sacha combines drum machine lines with big band stabs and his signature reverb work to create a big party track thats guaranteed to set the roof on fire.

If there was ever an artist who deserved the whole 'no introduction needed' spiel it could easily be Dance Mania superstar Waxmaster Maurice. Maurice turns in a stomping ghetto house version, its frantic pace clocking in at three and half minutes. Using the original track as inspiration, Waxmaster uses his inimitable vocal style to coin new hooks and essentially create a whole new track.

Baldeelocks retains the Garage swing of the title track but heads into a whole new direction, pitched up drums and snare stabs sit on top of swathing string lines that pull the listener in. Once again, Mr. Robotti's sound-design production is the focal piece of the track, two beautiful breakdowns with detailed and considered work on the vocal parts that come in and out of the track.

We have been keeping a close eye on Dudley Strangeways for a while now and its a pleasure to welcome him to the Klasse crew. For his remix of Baldeelocks, Dudley strips everything down to its core, adding weight to the relentless beat of the drums. Drenching the FX in reverb and mixing in discordant patterns of vocals and pads, the remix provides the perfect fodder for those early hour after parties where only the strangest will do.
