A song written about a dream about a dystopian future (and partly past): compulsory army drafts, the final breaths of capitalism and me running through the streets, escaping, to the sea, I’ll take my chances, the sea that don't give a fuck about you or your money, you can keep it, it’s worthless, like the diamonds on the surface from the blinding sun, we’ll always have those but not for keeps...and all I want is you.

This song is about Suicide.

I wrote and recorded it in under 2 hours so it's a little rough but I wanted to share it anyway.  

I've known so many people who have decided to take a different path than this life. Some very close to my heart, others not as much. It still has a profound effect upon me to see or hear the manner in which they passed.
I've known many who have come close to the heavy decision and managed to steer themselves clear to continue living. 
Everything needs it's balance and it can be devastating when mental health falls out of kilter.  

After hearing another good person choosing to leave, I found myself approaching the subject through song. Previously, I couldn't have faced it without breaking down myself.
No one is immune from travelling to a darkness they feel they can't escape in this body. Many of you will know exactly what I mean, the luckier ones won't understand yet and may never understand.  

Everyone has the tools to survive if they want but, sometimes it's hard to find them. If you see someone is struggling and you can offer a hand, then you might just save someones life.

There are a few people who made sure I stayed and began to enjoy the world again after a difficult period of existence. I hope they know who they are and that I'm enterally grateful. 

I also found myself turn to God. Even though I'm not religious I felt myself taken under his wing. It was a massive relief and I hope this song might remind whoever listens that you don't have to be alone with whatever it is you're going through.

I don't know much about this song but I really like it.  I found a great version of it on youtube by Samantha and Zeb Snyder. So I quickly learnt it yesterday and recorded it today.

Known to our fans as "the angry one", Chicago, a song in 3 parts,  is the song we finish our live sets with (or at least we did, back when gigs were a thing)

A recent French review described it as "a mini rock opera" which is not in the slightest what we were going for, but is actually quite a fun description and I can see what they mean.

Chicago is simply a song about being sick of the state of the world
