getting sick of seeing them addicts next door pushing work, 

I grew up 
a screw up

looking for anything to do.

Started rapping as an outlet 
to let out the blues,
 then I turned to the booze,
and I started listening to the used
I remember being confused as a youth as to what to do, 
I was drifting through addiction, until I finally found through the truth

Both of my fathers were addicts, 
as well as all my uncles. 
It’s seem the men in my family often stumble, 
reach for the pass but fumble,
and I’ve never been subtle 
on how I feel about it. 
Yeah it lives inside me 
but I’ll never let it demonize me.

We’re all works in progress,

as long as you learn to remain humble in your ways.
