I love this song, Sadie.  The angst cries out magnificently. 

I am of right now to buy this set of Amazon, Sadie your an amazing singer like a cross between Dido and Allaniss Morresette (think that's how you spell it)

River is my favourite Joni Mitchell song. I think because it appeals to my gypsy spirit of endlessly wanting to move on... keep traveling... this beautiful river to skate away on or disappear into.
