Jeff’s music background started at the age of 13 when he got his first pair of decks where he would
spend hours practising after school, putting his homework to one side. He listened to Radio One at the
weekends, where he developed an affinity with techno music. A strong supporter of vinyl, Jeff started
buying and collecting and would spend his weekends in 3beat and the place in all the record shops and
also make trips to Manchester to the eastern bloc and vinyl exchange having a vast array of records, which
include artists such as Dave Clarke, Robert Hood and Jeff Mills to name but a few, and has developed
many different styles of techno starting with the '90s and early 2000s

At age 18, he went to the legendary underground techno night, ‘Voodoo’, where his love of electronic
dance music first started and ‘Bugged Out’ which introduced a new and diverse range of house and
techno genres he kind of knew then that he wanted to do this probably and DJ in clubs because he just
loved it and enjoyed seeing the way people react when performing live.

In 2006, Jeff undertook a three-year music technology course with JMU, where he developed his
understanding of the different roles within the music industry to the mechanisms of a studio. He now has
his studio and spends many hours producing techno. Jeff is a DJ/Producer with an open approach
and does not ‘pigeonhole’ his adaptations. He first and foremost works creatively to make his concepts
a reality, pushing his sound to the forefront.

He has run nights in Liverpool which include ‘Forbidden Fruit’ at the Lemon Lounge and ‘MCQ2’ at
Barfly, where he showcased his talents as well as local up-and-coming artists, as well as being part
of the duo ‘Minimal Casualties’, where he warmed up for ‘Rhythm Code’ at Basement 20.

Had my first release under the alias ‘In Mono’, which was released by the German record label ‘Plastiq’ in
2012. Jeff is currently working in the studio, working on-sole projects trying to get music finished to have it signed to a label.

Jeff spends a great deal of time identifying and collating music to craft DJ sets, to ensure that this
makes his music readily identifiable and sets his sound aside from any other DJ. This can include
Detroit techno from the late 90`s to techno with dark/heavy bass lines and also dark industrial feel. He
still enjoys playing vinyl DJ sets and still buys vinyl, but has the versatility to also use CDJ’s .

Jeff’s sheer passion and determination will ensure he goes far in the sense as his labour of love of the
music will pay off one day my productions can be described as dark banging 909`s dark and moody with a
si-fi atosmpre going on in the background a lot my ideas come from watching sci-fi and comic`s

currently working on finishing tracks with a view to getting sign and doing a few mixes for radio shows and a few gigs planned for
2021

I'm a 29yo digital artist & gamer from IL, here to find new music. I love ambient songs, dubstep, house and trance, but I listen to every genre. There are gems in EVERY genre! I lean towards more bouncy EDM cuz I'm a raver. Feel free to toss some tracks my way! ♥ Bonus points if you have songs with heavily edited/manipulated vocals, or robotic vocals, I'm fuckin' weak for them! •v•
